Glute Bridge
The Glute Bridge activates and strengthens the glutes, hamstrings, and core.
Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
Press through your heels to lift your hips until your body forms a straight line from knees to shoulders.
Squeeze your glutes at the top, then lower back down slowly.
PRO TIPS:
Keep your feet hip-width apart: heels close enough that your shins are vertical at the top.
Push through your heels and squeeze your glutes to lift your hips, keeping your knees in line with your toes.
Keep your ribs down and core engaged: stop before your lower back arches, then lower slowly with control.
MODIFICATIONS:
Reduce your range: Lift your hips only as high as it feels comfortable while keeping your back neutral.
Add a resistance band: Place a band above your knees and gently press outward as you lift.
Use support: Rest your arms on the floor with your palms face down to help with balance and stability as you lift.
