The Burpee is a full-body move that builds strength and endurance by combining a squat, plank, and jump in one fluid motion.
Start standing tall, then squat down and place your hands on the floor.
Jump your feet back into a plank position, keeping your body straight.
Jump your feet forward toward your hands, then explode upward into a jump.
Land softly and immediately lower back into the next rep.
PRO TIPS:
Land softly when jumping your feet back in to reduce knee and ankle stress.
Exhale on the jump to keep your core braced.
Set a steady pace instead of rushing the first few reps.
MODIFICATIONS:
Squat down and step one foot, then the other, from squat position to plank position and back.
Stand up and reach your arms overhead rather than performing a big jump at the top.
